Our Story
Back in 2019, Sophia was living in Azusa, CA for college and Xavier was home in Riverside, CA. They met through Facebook and exchanged numbers. After several dates traveling to and from Azusa and Riverside, they became a couple. Little did they know the pandemic would be coming just 4 months later. Sophia was forced to move home to Campbell, and they had to be long distance for awhile. Sophia went back to school to get her masters degree and teaching credential, and decided on Cal Baptist so that she could be close to Xavier. They had two great years in Riverside that helped build the foundation of their relationship. Sophia got to meet all of Xavier's family, see where he grew up, and became a part of the community, even subbing in schools around the city. After she graduated in 2022, she moved home to Campbell to begin her career and have her first classroom. This resulted in another year of long distance as Xavier finished up school back home in Riverside. In April 2023, Xavier moved down to Campbell and he has been here ever since. Xavier graduated and now works as an RF test engineer in Sunnyvale. In their free time, Sophia and Xavier like to go to the movies, hike, try new restaurants around the area, attend church, and spend lots of time with their family and friends. They are grateful to everyone for being a part of their special day and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
